# NFT Marketplace

NFT stands for non-fungible token. It’s generally built using the same kind of programming as a cryptocurrency, like Binance or Ethereum, but that’s where the similarity ends. An NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos. They are bought and sold online.

Although they’ve been around since 2014, NFTs are gaining notoriety now because they are becoming an increasingly popular way to buy and sell digital artwork.

The PhoenixChain community will support the NFT creator community by creating a decentralized venue for the NFT creators.

The **PhoenixChain NFT** marketplace is currently under development with the goal of making it a ease of use platform for both NFT creator and NFT buyers. The launch of the NFT marketplace will again add a great milestone reached towards the one stop shop vision of the PhoenixChain community goal.

The transaction fee’s that are accompanied with the buying and selling within the NFT gallery will also be subject to the $PCN BNB reward pool and for other project.
